Could someone advise whether the Takumar lens hood for this lens fits inside the lens case, as is the case with many other Takumars?

Cheers, Pickles.

The hood should fit over the front part of the lens (upside down) and the lens cap goes over that. This is the case with nearly all Takumars.

Yes, it fits. All my Takumars do.
