Was that a jab at my pink 55mm 1.8?

It is possible to restore the aperture lever on the lens and return much of its original value. People need to chill out. Nate screwed up his own lens and he's paying the price, literally.

Contact Eric, the Pentax lens magician and repairman, at PENTAXS. Perhaps he can help you.

Cheers...

Ok I say we forgive Nate, but only if he does the following to repent his sins:

1) Take a sledge hammer (Great idea “Blue”) to his Canon 5D. We want video proof of this sacrifice.
2) Send the castrated K28/2 to Eric so he can make it “whole” again.
3) Buy a Pentax camera.

Once you have completed this “cleansing” we will welcome you with open arms.

Phil.

PS I jest, but at least do #2 and get Eric to fix this beauty of a lens!
I was jesting about the Canon rangefinder as well. I have respect for those vintage specimens as well. That was the best analogy I could come up with at the shock.

well, just got from visiting Eric's shop. It was an easy 30 min. drive to his house/shop, and everything went perfectly. Within 20 min he had my lens working perfectly.

I recommend highly anybody needing repairs. Amazing service, and very affordable!
