yeah i guess i was keen to hear what a film veteran thought of the FA*85 vs the DA*55 on digital in terms of IQ (as much as you can) or to see the same shot taken side by side with the different lens (though tough here given your subjects )

I have the 77ltd and like what ive seen so far, but too wonder whether an FA*85mm might give me an edge in terms of chouse, particularly for studio work.


Im also confused as hell with what to do about my 50mm range. ie Should i ditch the FA50 f1.4 for the 43ltd or the 55? lol. i cant test them out to get an idea and certainly cant buy them all.

You could always rent both and try them out that way:

Umm except that they dont ship to Canada, let alone Australia where I live.

In the last years i had 2 FA*85 and a A*85 and only stayed with the 77.
But after see this great photos, my LBA are groing

When i only had film i had the A*, FA* and the 77 at the same time. But after think to much(that was the problem) i opted to stay only with the 77.
