Rent Pentax Lenses

So, I'm kind of in a sticky situation. I bought a DA* 55-130 f2.8 last July. The AF motor was bad right from the beginning. Pentax fixed it under warranty without any complaints (Thanks Pentax!), but the warranty fix took about 6 weeks. Unfortunately the same lens is now doing the exact same thing and not auto focusing correctly.

To Make a long story short, I need to send it in for Warranty repairs, and I have 2 wedding planned, and I wanted to use this lens. I have other lenses, so I'd be able to get by, but I have come to really enjoy the capabilities of this lens.

So, Is there any place that I can rent Pentax Lenses?

This vendor gets a lot of good reviews. I haven't tried it myself but probably it will be the place I'll go to if I ever need one.

Ditto.

They will let you reserve a lens if you know when you will need it.

Also, they use FedEx shipping and it got here a day early.

You can drop it off at any FedEx location, I used it the first four days on vacation and then sent it back.

How do you reserve lenses for a specific date? I'm not seeing that option on the website.

It's part of the checkout process. It will ask you for your lens arrival date.

I've used them too. Great service. They even drop shipped to my vacation home....the process was hassle free and the lens were A+. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again.
