Pentax 40mm 1:2.8 Limited and Sigma 70 - 300 1:4-5.6 APO DG

So, I got the call today that my Sigma zoomer was in. I went by the shop and was impressed with the build quality and weight of the Sigma.

I tried it on the K10d body they had in and was pleased with the overall handling.

They even knocked $30 off the price for me.

...and after having forked over the cash for the Sigma, my eyes fell on the slim little 40mm Limited sitting on the shelf.

We mounted it up on the body and I was sure I cut my eye the image was so sharp.

...so out came the credit card and home came the 40mm lens as well...

Time to play.

This is Diva...decent shot I think - feel free to offer feedback, obviously.

Congratulations. Be interested to see some shots from that Sigma 70-300, to compare to my Tamron 70-300.

I see it Cute doggie! Will - any chance your router/ISP/whatever is blocking doggydude's domain? (blowupmyride.com)

Dang, no picture for me either.

I tried and I can definitely access Car and Truck News so I am not sure what the problem may be.

OK - color me stumped.

Some see them, some don't.

The domain shouldn't be blocked (it's an auto news site I run), though if you're at work, some entertainment sites may be blocked...so maybe...

I put up pics in the "Post Your Pics section" as well - wonder if folks are seeing them or not...

I can't see it either, and I have not had any problem with viewing photos on other threads.

No. I'm not at work and my router here at home isn't configured to filter any sites at all.

Some sort of doggie-eating most definately happened. I could see the doggie earlier today, not any more.

Your doggie looks quite thin for one that just ate a larger doggie.

While doggydude tries to get his pooch back from the "tubes of the internets", here's another shot of my little guy (taken earlier this week before his grooming yesterday)

(both taken with my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, first one with 540 flash, this one just natural light)
