DA 17-70 and DA 70-300

Any information on what the maximum aperture of these lenses is and if it is constant throughout the range?

The roadmap lists these lenses are being due in late 2007 but I am not sure if the release date is on target. These ranges are much more useful to me than the current DA* 16-50/50-135.

Thanks

I've got no idea about the aperture, but based on the delays that have occurred with the 16-50 and 50-135, I'd guess you won't see those lenses until mid-2008 at the earliest.

It's a DA 55-300mm.

And I think it may be a while before they arrive, as there aren't even pictures available of them; the DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited, the DFA 645 55mm f/2.8, the DA* 60-250mm f/4 ED [IF] SDM, the DA* 300mm f/4 ED [IF] SDM, and the DA* 200mm f/2.8 ED [IF] SDM have pictures on the Pentax Lens Roadmap, and they're not supposed to be out until at least Sep. 2007 (DA* 300mm and DA* 200mm) or Dec. 2007 (DA * 60-250mm).

Thanks Mathew,

I downloaded this roadmap from a thread on this forum ( don't remember which one) and it says DA 70-300?
