Legendary SMC Pentax 85-210mm f/3.5 (K series)

Hey all, picked up this lens after hearing good things in this thread.

Six Mile Creek and Frozen Mud by natestation2 - (SMC Pentax 85-210mm f/3.5)

I'd say it lives up to everything said here. Super sharp (but some CA opened wide), etc...

Ask for a trade in some UK forum (like thepentaxforum.co.uk), you could perhaps fetch a used K3 or Ks-2 in a trade depending on condition and cash in between.
If you find a used body in a store they might like to move it when new models come out.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread... I have a question about this lens.

I just bought a copy and it seems that the front part of the lens (at the line on the main barrel) is in some way adjustable by rotating it can anyone shed light on this or why it may be?
