Is there a 60mm macro f2.8?

canon has one that looks really great. I didn't see one for Pentax but maybe there is something close someone can recommend.

50 and 70 are the common closest sizes, though 90 or 105 will give you a little more working room.

You're probably thinking of the Yashinon 60mm f2.8 Macro in m42 mount, I just discovered that lens today. One of the first, if not the first and only m42 lens capable of 1:1 besides the early Tak 50mm macros.

It's a pretty rare lens, I think Gokevincameras sell it for $400 or so. It's a very sharp lens but it's horrible with flares.

There should also be a Leica R mount 60mm f2.8 macro capable of 1:1 with a macro adapter attachment. That lens should be much better than the Yashinon and only a tad bit more in price.

There's a DFA 50 mm f2.8, A DFA 100 mm f2.8, a WR version of the latter. In addition you can find older versions of these lenses (I own the FA 50 macro for instance). There's also the 35 mm f2.8 Limited macro.

There's no point in having a 60 mm in addition to that, IMHO. The Pentax macro lenses are in general amazing in qualty.

IMO no macro lens is worth $600, not when there are alternatives that are just as good if not better in image quality at less than half the price. This is one of the few times where I think brand loyalty to Pentax is not worth it.

I forgot to add, the Leica R 60mm macro can be converted to Pentax K with a $30 adapter from Ebay. It keeps infinity focus and only takes 5 minutes to install.
