No, you won't need an adapter since they are all Pentax bayonet mounts. That's a great value as long as they are all in good working condition, even more so if the cosmetic condition show only minor wear.

Any lens that says it's for Pentax and isn't a screwmount will fit with no adapers. If it's an AF lens, it will AF. If the lens has an "A" on the aperture ring, it will do autoexposure. The A50/1.7 you mention is the only one that has that. None are AF lenses.

Thanks for the information folks.

I am very excited. I picked up the lenses. They are all in beautiful shape. There was not a scratch anywhere. They were all in cases many still wrapped in plastic.

I also got a whole host of filters (around 20), three lextension tubes, two flash units, a diffuser and tons of other little goodies!

On a side note if not already mentioned for the M lenses the green button can be used to obtain an exposure. I may be over simplifying that but so far I've had pretty good success with these lenses and I am quite happy.

I am off for 5 days now so time to go shooting!!

Thanks again to everyone for the prompt and courteous help.

Cheers!!
