I'm not quite sure how to display the EXIF. so I just cut and pasted this from Flicker.

Thanks Tom! I can not read exif of shots from Flicker, unless I link to Flicker and search it out. I think it a lot of us are in this boat.

Flickr removes the EXIF from everything but the original image. To see the EXIF for an image on Flickr, you need to go to "All sizes" and then open "original size" which can take up a fair bit of band width depending on the size of the original upload.

Nice shot! Its always good to see a HDR shot that doesn't look like a drug induced halo-fest.

Some great shots in this thread, I can't wait to get my own.

I had a 16-50 in my possession yesterday for a few hours. Unfortunately it turned out to have severe back focusing so back it goes to Adorama I've asked for a replacement copy, hopefully the next one will be a good one.

Love the beaches at Jervis Bay and love your photo. And I'm a New South Welshman as well.

Now I really have to drive to Jervis Bay, I have a severe addiction to your white sands.

Hi selar, thanks. Actually, I'm from Melbourne. My wife and I did a 4,000km road trip in 8 days last month and we visited my mother-in-law, who lives near Jervis Bay. There are some terrific beaches around there. Here's another one. I posted this in the photo critique area, so you might have seen it before. This is around the headland on the right of the original photo.

And, just for contrast, some not quite so white sands in Byron Bay, earlier in the morning than the Jervis Bay shots and with a bit of overcast. I don't think it does justice to the lens, but I'm giving you choices of driving north or south This was a week before "schoolies". The beach would have been a bit busier a week later.
