Kalison, Rondec

I haven't checked this thread for a while. You guys posted some awesome images above - well done. As I shoot manual focus almost all the time I don't use the DA* 16~50/2.8 as much as it deserves. Odd as it may sound letting the camera focus for me just seems lazy for some reason. I think I'll shoot exclusively with it for a week or so just to get used to it. This lens is way to good to rest in my camera bag unused.

Just wanted to put up a couple of photos shot off my back porch this morning to show the kind of flare I see. These photos are throwaway shots otherwise. One is shot at f9, the other at f11. Exif should be intact.

Took a motorcycle camping trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This is the view looking upriver, from the Taquamenon Falls State Park campground. I only brought two lenses, the DA*16-50, and DA*50-135, and most of the shots were taken with the 16-50. I don't use it as much as I used to, but it's still a great lens! 1/320 @ f6.3, ISO 100.

I posted this in another thread but as I used the DA* 16~50/2.8 for the shot is seems to fit here as well.

I hand held my flash off to the side and I think things went rather better than normal when I try this sort of thing.

Liking this lens a lot. I like the K 200/2.5 as well.

WOW! Nice shots of the flower and the Pentax K2!

Here is an impromtu photo of my girlfriend while we were on vacation. Was taken at f/8 (I think by accident, since I was set for more landscape type photos), at 34mm (51mm). The more I go through my shots with this lens, the more I love it. Its too bad the SDM scares people away from this lens.

Football season begins! Reverse film option was on so that's why the color looks the way it does.

Having fun on the sidelines

Celebrating a touchdown

To prove I took photos of the game, too (DA*200)

Very nice Urke! I was wondering if you were going to be doing some stuff for the Solon Spartans.

Have a derby tomorrow night, hope I can pull it off with the 16-50.
