Lots of threads here about reliability issues related to the DA* 16-50 F2.8. Let's not get into that in this thread - this thread is about photos only. Please post large, but not too large, and keep the EXIF data intact, or provide a link (to Flickr, etc...) where the EXIF can be seen.

I have quite a collection of keepers of my own using this lens - some of which have been displayed before:

Both relatively long exposures on a K20D.

This thread revisits the notion of having a searchable database on the forum for images captured with certain lenses.

I haven't had the DA* 16~50/2.8 very long and I'm still exploring its possibilities. Truth be told I shoot longer telephoto most of the time so this lens is quite a departure from the norm for me. At the moment I suspect I'll use it for group photographs and interior work such as the image below.

It works OK in rain too.
Exif got lost in uploadind, f 5,6 13 sec. iso 100 at 16 mm.
