Raynox Newbie

Hello wise ones. If this thread isn't in the right place, perhaps it can be moved. I decided to post here rather than the club thread because I am asking advice.

I recently received a Raynox 150 for my birthday a few weeks ago. I've been having fun with it, but wouldn't mind a few tips or tricks on how to use it to the fullest. I've used it with the kit lens and my Sigma 70-300 (which was also a birthday present.) I found it a bit easier to use with the kit lens, but that's probably because I've been using the kit lens for years and I'm still getting used to the Sigma lens. I'm a bit embarrassed to show you the ants, but hey, you gotta start somewhere, right?

So what works for you all when using this thing?

A few of my poor attempts taken over the past few days in the back yard.
