I've got a question. (I don't own this lens, just looking at everyone's pictures). Does anyone else feel that this lens doesn't have the "Pentax" look (like from FA glass)? I'm not sure if it's just bias because I know it's a tokina, but the colors just don't do it for me. Incredibly sharp and nice bokeh, but the colors lack a defining character (warmth?). The cat in the post above me comes close, but (at least on my monitor) it has a magenta cast, that if balanced out would look more sterile (would be warm toward yellow rather than magenta with FA). Am I full of it?

FWIW, it's a Pentax lens; by all accounts, Tokina licenses it from Pentax, not the other way around.

This lens is just superb.

Here are a few of mine. I actually like it for portrait and street photography.

From our short trip in Turku archipelago.

Sharpening went a bit wild when resizing.

It is nice lens, but price is pretty high here in Japan (almost 2x US price)...
