Top 3 Lenses you actually use...

There are a number of threads about "I'm going to buy a new lens which one of these 2 lenses is better" or "what lens should I buy next" but I'm curious about which lenses in general "You" are actually using. Maybe you have great primes but never use them because you like the flexibility of a zoom or you hate zooms because they don't have the quality of primes?

Whenever I read informative posts from people that are very knowledgeable and posting great pictures, I always check their signatures and profiles to see what lenses they are using. Unfortunately some people don't list their lenses and some post "all" their lenses. Either way it doesn't tell me which ones they use most.

I know it's not all about the lenses and a great photographer can take great photos even with a disposable camera, but I'd rather "I" was the limiting factor and not my tools, because I can always learn to use them better.

So the question is... Which 3 lenses do you use most and why? Please keep in mind I'm not looking for your 3 best lenses... unless you actually use them all the time.

I'll get us started.

1. Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm f2.8-4
2. Vivitar 100mm f2.8 macro
3. Rokinon 85mm f1.4

I like the focal range and don't shoot much in tight quarters.

I typically bring 6-8 lenses with me but I find these 3 lenses get used the most.

I recently made an excel spreadsheet that lists all my lenses and when I take a lens with me on an outing I put an "x" beside the lens. At the end of the year lenses with few or no marks beside them will be politely asked to leave "it's not you it's me..."

I purchased too many lenses too quickly and haven't had a chance to truly give them all a workout. I'm sure my top 3 list will evolve as I use them more.

Thanks for your time.

1. FA 31mm Ltd.
2. Leica Summicron-R 90mm
3. K 50mm 1.2

2 and 3 are recent acquisitions so I'm not sure how things will pan out in the future, but at the moment those 3 are the lenses that are always with me.

1. FA 43
2. DA 16-45 (used to be DA 17-70 not too long ago, but I sold it to buy the 16-45)
3. FA 77
Runner-up: Tamron 90

I bought the 43 less than a month after purchasing my K10D almost three years ago. It was an immediate favorite.

1) Angenieux 35mm f2.5
2) Yashinon Kogaku 58mm f1.2
3) Vivitar S1 90mm f2.5 Macro

I tend to rotate through my lenses but these three have been finding their way into my bag and onto my camera lately.

All except the 500 mirror and 800 bazooka get regular use, though the macro is new and not an everyday lens, and the 55-300 is seeing much less since I have recently gotten the longer zooms.

I would say the 12-24 may be the most-used (cars shows, travel, architecture...)

I'm a wide kind of guy...

Sigma 10~20
DA15 Ltd
Sigma 30 F1.4

Also have DA40, FA50, Tammy 90, Sigma 17~70, DA55~300, a couple of WRs and the basic kit lens that came with the Kx. I don't forsee myself buying any more lenses. If anything I will dump the FA50 and the 17~70.

Primarily I use:

DA*16-50
DA*55
DA 12-24

for 90% of general stuff. If I want to do something specialized, I'll choose a different set. For instance, if I'm going out just to do Macro and floral type stuff (and I have to choose),

DA35
A50 f2.8
DFA100WR
DA*300

Because it's what fits in the bag and I can get different types of results with each one.
