Our recent Singapore Pentax users monthly outing was at an orchid farm. In less than 5 minutes I got more keepers with the DA 35mm Macro Limited than my DFA 100mm Macro WR. Your choice of macro lens should be dictated by working distance to subject. In this regard, the DA 35mm Macro Limited excels with flowers, product shots, food and other subjects that won't be affected by the close working distance. It is great as an all-round lens for street and landscapes too.

So how you finding the DA35 beyond the macro and out past about 6 feet? Or for infinity shots for the matter of landscapes.
I'm an entomologist so that is fairly routine for me. 20 years ago I was doing those kinds of shots with close-up diopters. I find the DA 35mm a very good all around lens. Since the Diagonal if the dSLR bodies are around 28.3, I find it matches up fairly well for landscape shots. Lets say it does landscapes much better than similar lenses do 1:1 macro. I get more keepers with the DA 35 than I do with just about any other lens whether its macro, street shooting, landscape etc. My other main macro lenses are the Sigma 105mm and Macro-Tak 50mm. As a matter of fact, this DA 35mm & K20d setup essentially replaced my Canon EOS 10S & EF 50mm f2.5 Macro setup including ring light which is a film setup.

Edit: Here are some shots from last October.
