On the strength of knowing you from only four posts? Come now, let us be realistic in our presumptions upon the kindness of strangers.

Mike you are too kind!

On another forum I frequent people get banned for asking for five bucks worth of online credit...tread lightly Mr. Russell.

Perhaps you should focus on picking up that SMC-M 50mm F2 you discussed four score and 2 posts ago.

Your next-door neighbour might. They can get it back. Why should I?

Sorry, but it's a slightly daft question.

(Oh, and I sold mine a few months ago. But that's not the point .. )

will someone loan me a Pentax K7 Silver Limited? They don't have to be rich, only to have the K7 and money to send it to me...

Oh, and if you're at it, throw in a FA 43 Limited, silver version, made in Japan please

Please? No one? (

Personally, I would have left out the "someone rich", as it implies that the person who lends you this lens wouldn't care if they got it back or not, since they're "rich".

To replace or supplement your 12-24? I'm just curious because I have a 12-24 coming that I was going to try out to potentially replace (or supplement) my 15.

Many stores will loan lenses, that might be the best solution.

Rich or not, even though it has gone up in price in the last year or so, the 50mm 1.4 is really not that expensive to begin with.

Also, the implication of someone "rich" or with money to lend you the lens implies they might not get it back, so they would be less likely to cry about it?
