You must all stop this NOW!!

Both the DA 15 thread and this one.

I am having trouble resisting the temptation to buy both and satisfy my inner curiosity.

This is not LBA. Too clinical.

I am getting religion.

It's a small vehicle used (use to be) on railroad tracks for inspections and the like. The sheds that housed them were typically placed within a couple yards of the track and would be pushed on to the tracks. You can think of it as a motorized hand car (like the one you would see in the movie Blazing Saddles) or if you prefer, a golf cart for the rails. Now they just use regular cars or trucks (did then too) equipped with railroad wheels to guide them along the tracks. The photo was taken at a rail museum in Salem Indiana.

well Hangu, you have heard of that other thread about the 15mm lens and mind control, I think I am just another casualty. Unfortunately, couldn't keep both.

Have to contribute again with a image showing handheld action panorama with 12-24mm on k-x. With todays advanced stiching softwares you can get quite impressiwe results in situations where you really don't have the space.

I was almoste on the lap of the man in right and this image was probably 8 stiched photos @ 12mm.

Photo taken at folkrock band SNEKKA s 10th year anniversary gig at Kaustinen Folk Music Festival 2010.

I'm shipping this lens off by the end of this week so I'm going out with a bang:

Try getting this effect on your DA15. Oh wait, you can't.

Oh hey, you're on my Flickr contacts list. Can't remember how I found you but it must have been through this forum. You rock.

Keitha, you just come on in and take over with your amazing play of ambient light mastery.
You'd make any lens look good...

@ hangu: I take it you're not called hangu on flickr? I just searched for you and didn't find you. Glad you like my stuff!

@ Ash: I still haven't figured out how to use my flash properly, so it's all ambient light for now. And that 12-24 just lets in sooooo much of it!

Lundbreck Falls, Alberta

These falls are spectacular enough that Alberta, Canada has made a provincial recreation area around them. They are about an hour from my home. I live in South East British Columbia, and the falls are in South West Alberta.

The DA12-24 is a pretty impressive lens, it delivers superb wide angle photos.
