@ Ash: I still haven't figured out how to use my flash properly, so it's all ambient light for now. And that 12-24 just lets in sooooo much of it!

Not quite Hangu's moodiness, but I'm getting used to the "wide" end of the 12-24 (16mm in this case) on my hikes. This is three shots fused together with Photomatix 4 beta, pre-corrected for CA and distortion using "jaitas'" Adobe Lens Profile for this lens.

This is the first shot I got with a DA 12-24mm .
I snuck the lens onto my Pentax k-7 body during the swedish photo fair.

ISO100, 1/4s, f4 and free hand with an anti-theft alarm tied to the lens.

I got hooked so I went and bought myself a 12-24mm from ebay at half price ^^

Great images in this thread! This one is to the artistic side. 5 shot HDR which is then converted BW and added some split toning. I just personally like the overshot effect in this picture. And yes DA 12-24 is very sharp, which you can't tell from this small image. Oulus city hall and christmas tree pictured 14.12.2010.

Okay, I've been on these forums for over two years now, and I'm finally motivated to post some shots because this lens is so worthy!

A southeastern Alberta ghost town. (About the only one with any buildings remaining.)

I love this lens for vehicle shots. It also has very good control of fringing or CA even with strong backlighting.

Did I mention that I love this lens for vehicle shots??

Some lenses may be able to control one's mind, but the DA 12-24 is a bit more practical: it can control one's wide-angle FOV:
