I've never heard of that lens. Did you mean the 135/2.5? Here are some opinions about it: Pentax Lens Review Database - SMC Pentax 135mm F2.5 Lens Reviews

There's also an A (and FA) 135mm F2.8: Pentax Lens Review Database - SMC Pentax-A 135mm F2.8 Lens Reviews

It sounds like a rebranded lens like the sears 135 mm f2.8 k mount

People like the sears lens but I can't comment on it.

I have 4 135 mm lenses :
The k 135 f2.5
SMC tak f3.5
Lentar f2.8 preset m42
Rikenon f2.8 m42

I like all but the rikenon which has an unusual color shift and suffered from some internal reflection issues

For Adam

I have the Sears 135mm f2. and it takes a 52mm filter and has 180 degrees of rotation to focus, stop to stop. I also have the Pallas Magenta 135mm f2.8 lens and it takes a 55mm filter and has 270 degrees of rotation to focus, stop to stop. Assuming the optics are equal, in my book the Pallas would be the better lens for manual focusing. They aren't the same lens and the Pallas is heavier. I haven't taken pics with either as I don't use 135mm much. Both are M42.

IIRC, the Pallas lenses are related in some way to Miranda lenses of the same vintage. I believe there are some ancient postings on this site discussing one or more examples of the brand.
