28mm f3.5 Super Takumar, Which one to keep

Hello,
I have two versions of 28mm f/3.5 Super Takumar:
first model second version with 58mm filter ring and smallest aperture being f/16;
and second version with 49mm filter ring and smallest aperture also f/16.
The first one is in mint condition with original rear cap and case, and second one is also in mint condition with original caps, but front cap has "28mm" permanent sticker attached to it.
I was thinking about selling one of them, and can't make-up my mind as to which one and for how much would be a fair price for them.
I would appreciate everybody's 2 cents on this topic.
Thanks.

I have 1 28mm Super Tak in my collection and it is the 2nd version of the 1st model including matching hood. I really wanted the ver1. I don't have others because I have so many different 35mm Taks . . . Auto 35mm f3.5 & f2.3, Super Tak 35mm f3.5, and Tak 35mm f4.

I like pairing up the early 28 with the 8-element 50mm f1.4. Then again I don't think I ever sold a Tak but have traded 1 for another.

Are you aware of the big front element version of the Super Tak 35mm/2?

But, seriously, is there any kind of idea which one of 28mm is supposed to be superior, because I wanted to go with the size factor: smaller is better for me.
but bigger is supposed to be better, theoretically.

If you asked 20 people that had both that you have, you will get 10 different answers on which of the 2 is the best. I think the 1st Model is the best.

The super-taks are good lenses. Hold onto them both unless there is some pressing reason (financial or otherwise) not to. That way, if one gets lost/damaged (hopefully not but hey, things happen) you still have the other. Of course, I use an M-42 camera. If I was using mainly K-mount or digital I might feel differently....

I like using the Av mode quite a bit. Unless its for the K2, there is no point in the K28. Besides, the k-mount collection is a different set so it isn't pertinent.

Edit: The difference in the Model 1 ver1 & ver2 and Model 2 and the S-M-C Tak 28mm is 7 elements in 6 groups and for the Model 1 and 7/7 for the Mod 2 & S-M-C tak. The K 28mm f3.5 is 8 elements in 7 groups.

well, then you have to buy and keep the k28/3.5 as well.

Unless your rent or groceries are riding on it, why on earth would you contemplate selling either of them? The cash you get won't do much to assuage the remorse.

Initially, I thought I have too much equipment, so I would sell some of it to fund purchase of different one, if it makes any sense. But now I am trying to come up with reason for myself not to sell it, even though I have purchased something else.

What I mean, is I was able to find 20mm Super Tak and 17mm Fish-eye reasonably priced, but still a little more than I wanted to spend. Also, I still want SMC 28mm Tak, and a few wide angle lenses for my Ukrainian rangefinders, that I tend to shoot more and more.
I decided to ask this question, hoping that someone will give me a nudge of sorts, but I see no support of my noble intentions to consolidate my screw mount collection.
Oh, well, I guess my better half will not be happy when she gets a few more packages coming in, and nothing really going out

I have the big version of the 28/3.5. From what I've read on the subject, which isn't much as I haven't found a lot of info available, the later small front element version of the lens is just an adaptation of the earlier lens so I doubt there would be a vast difference in image quality. To be honest, I'm curious if the big front element version was sized so it could use the same hood as the 24mm lens as that is what I use with mine. I doubt it's true but who knows.

I find the shots I take with my 28/3.5 to be a bit soft at times and they have a blue color cast to them which I can easily correct with a custom WB. In terms of the softness, my lens looks to be in perfect condition but it might have been dropped at some point during the past 47 years. The elements appear to be clean.

I paid $8 for mine at a camera show (it would be mint if the painted numbers weren't faded a bit) so a person could skip coffee for a couple of days and justify hanging on to it. The hood was more expensive than the lens.
