Which 20/21mm - Pentax or Voigtlander?

Any comments on the relative merits of these three lenses?
- Pentax DA 21mm f3.2
- Voigtlander Color Skopar 20mm f3.5 Aspherical SL II
- Pentax A 20mm f2.8
- Pentax M 20mm f4

I prefer fixed length to zoom lenses, am very happy to focus manually and value small & light lenses.

I will mainly be using the lens for architecture. Main camera is a K20d, but I do occasionally use my film bodies (which I know rules out the DA 21mm).

Which one would you recommend and why?

Thanks,

I'm a huge fan of the Voigtlander and the Pentax-A lens given their rendering qualities. I might even look into shift lenses for architecture shots. They're only slightly more than the Voigt and A20.

20/21

There was a review in French that compared the DA 21 and the Voigtlander 20 which was reposted on this forum here.
I recently bought a used DA 21 because the difference in image quality was minor and the auto-focus, while not critical for a wide-angle lens, is convenient. Sorry I can't comment on the other lenses you are considering.

I have the Pentax DA 21mm/f3.2 I think it's a great lens. No comments on the others because I never used them.

Don't forget other options;
- Zeiss Distagon T* 21mm/f2.8 available in Pentax mount.
- Leitz super Angulon 21mm/f4 to be rebuild to Pentaxmount
- Leica Elmarit-R 19mm/f2.8 to be rebuild to Pentaxmount
