The "Other" True Pancake

Having no prime fisheye lenses in my cabinet, I've recently acquired a Takumar 18mm F11 fisheye. When it arrived, I was very surprised with its tiny size and peculiar construction. For exaple, there's no focusing ring, but there are three aperture settings- 11, 22, and 32!

After taking a closer look at the front element, it also turns out that this lens doesn't have aperture blades. Instead, it has a disc with three pre-cut holes that's connected to the aperture ring. The bokeh (if it ever becomes visible) must look great!

Below is a photo of the lens. It measures no more than 1cm high when mounted!

I tried popping this lens onto my K10D, but it doesn't look like the pair likes each other Because this fisheye is so wide yet completely flat, the camera's electical contacts will scratch the back of the lens if you screw it all the way in.

I've seen a couple of this on eBay lately, they seem a lot "different" from the takumar fisheye 17mm..
