I agree with you retro, since getting the 43 I've been whipped but I've never had a 50/1.2 to be less partial. I suppose the choice between the 43 and an A 50/1.2 would be much tougher...

But then I really like the 'convenience' of AF particularly when shooting children, and capturing transient moments that MF may miss...

I'm just a sucker for the A 50mm f1.2, just quicker and easier in use than its K cousin, but hey that's just me.

It seems every time you try to get rid of the K50mm F/1.2 you come to your senses and keep it. I say its a sign that you should do the same here

Personally, I would sell the Sigma 10-20mm.

If it's a question of one or the other, sell the one you don't use. It isn't the last one you'll ever see. If you use both of them, sell something else that you don't use. Personally, I'd find some other way of paying off the 77 than selling my prized other lenses.

Peter, just sell the 77 and wait for the Sigma 85. by that time, you already have the funds to keep which lenses you want to stay.

Thanks guys...
seems that 43 leads in poll..
I'm leaning more and more towards option 3 (sell 10-20) or try to risk the wrath of my finance ministeress and keep 10-20/31/43/50/77... this would leave me to cough up some £350 out of my piggi bank but would most probable make me happier than any other option...
Thanks for you thoughts everyone, really appreciate it!

Congratulations, Peter

Frankly, I love those K50/1.2 shots of yours and would certainly miss them if you go by the votes and sell it :ugh:

Well, glad that crisis is over

Now, let's have more shots from you

Best of luck. I lasted about 5 months and then it was on. Just like quitting anything else, there is always the need to make up for lost time. DA*55, Bigma, DA15, DA14, FA*200, DFA100WR, DA12-24, Vivitar 85 f1.4, FA35 f2, FA50 f1.4, A35-105, A135 f2.8, A50 f1.2, A100 f4 macro, A50 f2.8 Macro, K30 f2.8, K135 f2.5........

Better to feed the beast once a month or so. (some of those have been resold to fund the habit).

Good you were able to keep the 50/1.2

I was sooo tempted to buy it off you .... but i could see that you would have missed that stellar lens. And there's no way I'd part with an FA43 either if i had one.

Kicking LBA is easy ... when you are broke ... you can't afford anything. So i try and get out and shoot with what I already have.

I'm relying on this factor to help me
and thanks for not contacting me about K50.. I probably would have ended selling it to you...
