| 2008(ish) SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD [IF] MACRO Model A001
I emailed Tamron US about availability and price on what all hope is up to their 28-75 performance and here was there reply . We do not sell from here, only distribute through dealer where you would have to purchase the lens. I think the Pentax mount will not be available until early next year here in the US which I think is the same for Canada. Reading between the the lines "I think" - usually indicates no idea ... "Early next year" - might mean January/February 2008 or as we have seen it may mean November 28th, 2008 at 08:00 am  So the future still looks bright - albiet the lack of availability for fast tele-zooms lens is quite frustrating for some of us.
