I think the demand is increasing when the Kx arrived.

Prices here are way too high.
I bought my K200D and All of my lenses on this forum.
Yes Rustynail, I bought some lenses here in the forum too but I was kinda hoping of finding some sort of undiscovered treasure in the Phils since I was thinking that the sellers at quiapo or binondo hasn't caught up with the rest of the world.
Wouldn't it be nice to find F or FA or A lenses going for just P500 or less?
I guess I was out too long and thought the Phils would still be caught up more with iphones or nokias..hehe.
I know some friends of mine are into Canon as it is still a very popular choice in the Phils.

I just wonder how much is the demand or Pentax sales right now in the Philippines?
I still don't think there is too much demand for Pentax there as it is the same here.
Most of my friends have Canon or Nikon and a particular shop htat I was pointed too online only sells Canon or Nikon stuff..no Pentax whatsoever.

What I know though for sure is that the Canikons and their accessories are much-much more expensive too than here 'coz as my friends knew I was coming home so they had me buy them tripod rings for the 70-200L lenses and 280EX II flash!

We all know that electronics is ridiculously expensive in the Phils since the government is heavily taxing it..same as with cars. Half of the price of cars and electronics is government tax!

Ive just been to Quiapo last 2 weeks ago. Ive been searching for lenses but cant find any. Most of the products out there are Nikons.
Thats why ive been thinking of trying out Nikon gears since its very accessible in here especially the flash system and lenses.

Given the choice of spending the same amount on government duty or a weekend break in HK, I'd take the latter!

Check out www.cheaphk.com for prices. Some more than in the US, some less.

Nice one!

Maybe I should check Cubao or some other far flung place that's not like Manila-manila but somewhere in the outlying areas.

when the time comes that I'm going to sell some of my lenses, I might give sell to those who want some there. but that depends since I prefer a fast sell which doesn't require shipping and taxes.
