Well I just got my Helios 40-1 and its an aluminium anvil! ill see if the shots I took worked in a few minutes

I also have another lens on its way too, a C/Y MOunt Zeiss Planar 85/1.4 I founf semi locally for 220 Euros/285 USD!

Hey Douglas, do you happen to know how the Nikkor optical formula compares to the Pentax?

Seriously though, perfect shot.

Great lens! I sold mine and regretted it instantly, then found a 40-2. Wish I'd had them both at once to compare!
