What???? An FA 35mm F/2 in like new condition for $280BIN. that is a great price.
Tell me about it.

That price is exactly what I am willing to pay for such a lens. This current $400+ crap going on with this lens is just stupid IMO. I remember when it could be had for MUCH less than that.... than all of a sudden prices skyrocketed. Does anyone know why that was? I can't remember

glad you got yourself a copy. post some pics when you get the lens. I mean photos that are taken by the lens, not photos of the lens itself.
Thanks! I know for a fact I would have not won that bid if it wasn't for you and pcarfan. I PM'd both of ya for some guidance, therefore I owe you both a big thanks

I was originally not going to go over $350 MAX. After hearing from you guys I decided I needed to up it a bit and sure enough I won it for $5 over my original max. Ugh, I would have been devastated if I lost the lens for $5

And don't worry, I plan on doing the whole 1 lens, 1 month, 1 photo a day thing with the lens so there should be plenty of shots. There will be some lens pr0n as well

So you're saying you wouldn't pay the ebay asking of $519 for the FA50 f1.4 (when it was less than $200 18 or so months ago)? Neither would I.

So you aren't all that unlucky after all... I have a lot of 135s but the F isn't one of them.
