Tokina 80-200mm

Can anyone tell me exactly which Tokina lens this is, how it performs, and what it might be worth? I have an opportunity to snag this, but I want to know whether it's a worthwhile lens. I'm thinking it might be the f/4 version, but I can't find much info on it. Any help appreciated!

I'd get the Tokina 70-210/3.5 (same under Vivitar Series 1 70-210/3.5). One touch zoom that focuses continuously all the way down to 1.4m irc. It's a joy to use and sharp.

What little experiences I've had with the macro switches tell me they are a bit of a pain because the lens' minimum focusing distance as seen in that photo above stops at 1.9m which you are going to run into more often than not.

Switching to macro mode to be able to go closer takes you out of the moment and slows you down a bit and then you have to remember to switch out of the macro mode after your close ups.

This lens is probably decent but you should be aware of this limitation.
