My new Sigma 8-16mm. Very sharp, lots of fun.

I share Swift1's affection for the Tamron 90mm f2.5. Mine's the older version. It's a fine macro lens - if you use a hood.

The Sigma 10-20/3.5. It's wicked sharp for an extreme wide angle.

(An alternative would be the Sigma 30/1.4, but it isn't a lens I wanted to have glued to my camera.)

A great third party lens. I like my old manual focus "macro" for landscapes. Color is definitely different than Pentax lenses, though.

Sigma 100-300 F4 EX DG - on par with any premium glass (regardless of the brand)
Tamron 28-75 f2.8 - as mention already, sharp, fast, great reliable performer
Lensbaby 2.0 - but this one should be in some other category (wonderful nevertheless)

Regards,
D

I only used it once but I was very impressed with the old

manual focus Tamron SP 180/2.5. Beautiful lens.

The link below includes a March 1986 review from a British publication called Camera Weekly.
