Your favorite non-Pentax lens?

I do truly enjoy my S-T 55/2. As old as it is, it still feels - and shoots - like it is brand new. And if I had to choose a single lens from among my little lens covey to keep, the S-T would be my choice.

But a Meyer-Optik Oreston 50/1.8 spends a lot of time on my SP1000. Why? Its close-focus capability - about 8 inches - extends flexibility by almost a foot.

It does not have the silken build quality of my S-T, but it does have excellent sharpness and contrast, and dreamy bokeh:

What are y'all's favorites?

Nikkor 210/5.6 for large format.
One of the best lenses I've seen.

I can't pick just one!

Personally, I love the versatility of the Tamron 18-250 travel lens. While it's not the best at any one thing it's the best at versatility and if I had to go with just one lens anywhere that would be the one.

The other one is the Vivitar 85 f1.4 MF lens. It's a beast to use but with a split image range finder and a little luck, it gives really good results with portraits.

Pablo, I sold my 44-2 because of my clumsy fingers and clumsy brain trying to remember to stop down. I may yet gate a 44m or similar for my SP and ST605s ...

I started liking Rikenon XR 135mm/2.8 - gave me some beautiful shots, creamy bokeh and sharp.even at wide open.

off-course my Sigma 10-20 is great too.

My favorite lenses are all Pentax, but among my non-Pentax lenses, I guess my favorite would be my Tokina ATX 80-200 f2.8.

Its true, I sleep with my A*400/2.8 but when it came to macro I tried 3 brands and ended up going around Pentax for the Tamron 90/2.8. I don't sleep with it but we have had a few walks in the meadow together.
