DA 14mm, 15mm or 21mm?

If you were down to your last nickle but had just enough to buy one wide angle, Which one would it be?

I said 15 because it's small easy to take with you and it's a superb lens. Also it renders light oh so well. Fourteen point stars!

I voted 21. Small, sharp, not super slow... I think it'll be my next lens, but I'll have to wait... and wait....

I hope you're not using this as a guide to buy your next lens, cause that would just be dumb.

DA 21mm

My next lens will be the DA 21mm Limited. It was a tough choice between it and the DA 15mm Limited. I think that the range I shoot more is closer to the 21mm.

Don't want to influence the vote-"Herd MENTALITY", or to put it another way, "I have it so it must be the best!

We the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, with so little, for so long, we are now experts at doing anything with nothing!

All the Limited lenses are really small. I have 4 of them. For true wide angle, I'll go with the 15mm (=22.5mm in 35mm). The 21mm is more like 32mm in 35mm, not really wide angle.

It would be hard to choose. Before I got the DA12024, I would have said DA15, hands down. However, I said 21, because it is the smallest of the choices and offers more advantages over the zoom.

I can get much more 'dramatic' shots with my 15mm, but for 'one lens only' solution, I would always go for the 21mm. Whenever I head off somewhere for work and I throw the camera in the bag for opportunistic shots, it always has the DA21 attached. I need to plan for 15mm shots.

I've owned all three. Sold the 14 in favour of the 15 with no regrets, and I use the 15 a lot more than the 21.
So for me, it would be the 15.

Why of course that would be the Sigma 10-20. I get more use and enjoyment out of that than my DA15.

I've never had a single shot with my da 21 where I thought I should have been further back to get the shot. Most of the time I have to crop the image. Which means I'd have to crop more with the wider lens. But the cropping is ever so slight that if i went
