Lens build date

Is there a way to find out the lens Build Date ?, from the S/N ?, thanks

There isn't a way to tell the exact build date for Pentax lenses, but SN ranges can be of help if you're well-versed in a particular lens (i.e. see the FA* 85mm variations thread).
