DA*16-50 dof

Hi,

I'm new to this community having purchased my first Pentax and I wonder if anybody can help.

Has anybody published any actual depth of field figures / table for the 16-50 DA* showing dof at all apertures and specific focal lengths.

The depth of field at a certain aperture and focal length also depends on distance to subject. Any depth of field calculator will work.

Also note that DOF calculations always carry with them assumptions about how big you'll be printing the image and how far back you'll be viewing from. The values assumed by these online calculators are typically for 8x10" prints viewed from a "normal" viewing distance. You'll find they gross overestimate DOF if you judge by pixel peeping at 100% on a computer monitor from a foot or two away.
