The optics are "L" level without the added price. Even wide open, the 17-55 is sharp in the corners at the "very good" level or above, at all focal lengths: Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2,8 USM IS - Retest @ 15mp / Review - Analysis Pentax needs a lens that can compete with this. The DA* 16-50 is not that lens. | |
