Anyone know much about it?

From the designation, it should be K mount, correct? (Meaning I could slap it on my K10d without any need for the adaptor?)

Yeah, it should fit your K10d with no worries.

I have a Chinon 50/1.7 and it's a great little lens. The extra stop at f/1.4 should come in useful for low light photography. A 50mm lens on your K10d will round out at effectively 75mm giving you a really nice portrait lens.

If it's anything like my 50/14 SMC-M you'll be in for a real treat!
