Hey pentaxians,

among a bunch of Pentax gear i bought over a small ad i found this Lens i have not been able to find any mention of it on the internet (beside the ad itself) so i thought i'd share this.

Exakta 70-210mm 1:2.8-4 MC Macro

Looks pretty nice. I wonder if it's the same as the Vivitar Series 1 of the same type (made by the same company) and rebadged.

Looks nice. I've just picked up a RIkenon-P 35-135 f/3.5-4.5, we'll see how it does.

It does not seem to be a Vivitar series one 3rd Edition (the only one with matching aperture) the weight and the macro ability (1:1.38 compared to 1:2.5) does not match.

But but both look quite the same. Maybe it is a later version thats rebadged.

Will post some photos tomorrow.

What does it say under the lens cap and filter? Is it really an Exacta, or is that just on the lens cap?

it does say exakta as seen in the second picture

Sorry. I'm on a small monitor and didn't notice there were pictures side-by-side.
