This is unexpectedly looking to be an attractive proposition, if (and when) the price does get discounted down to realistic layperson levels then it fulfills a Pentax equivalent to Canikon cheap, effective and very decent nifty fifty.
35 is so nice and practical for APS-C too.
I am so sick of hearing the excuse and well-worn cliches that there is plenty of "old, second hand" lenses available "cheap" for Pentax owners.
Which is OK for geekoids who want nostalgic, manual, used, technology I suppose.
Real people don't -- they prefer to use Windows too, not compile-your-own-if-you-don't-like-it Loonix.
