Fa* 400/5.6 Lba

I´m kind of an outdoor guy and I often carry a long lens in the backpack. Yes, they are heavy, bulky and all that, but I find it convinient to have one with me anyway (no kidding )

Now this absolutely wonderful, shiny, autofocused beauty turned up and I cannot get it out of my mind. FA* 400/5.6.....

I already own an A* 300/4 and an A- 1.4 converter so I probably shouldn´t be interested anyway, if it wasn´t for the autofocus.

What would you do?

I saw this lens on ebay this week on sale.

I just spent huge on other camera expenses. not able to pick this beauty up!

Fa 400 f5.6 at least AF faster than your set up currently. Surely it is a bonus for wild life shots

Yes, the AF is the thing here. I´ve mostly been shooting MF so far, but time/age has caught up with my eyes and I seem to miss those nice eagle shots quite frequently nowadays......

What would the going price be on this one in superb condition? Couldn´t find the one you´re referring to on eBay.

Thanks!

I'd love a lens like that, I miss a lot of shots too because of my old eyes- and it weighs a KG less than my tamron 300 f2.8. I have to take it easy on LBA as my son will be going to college next year--- lord willing ---

Hey!

How come I can't locate this lens on eBay?

Is it still listed?

Probably not, I can´t find it either. Would like to know what it went for.

This lens is for the Pentax 645, not K-mount, so to use it on a dSLR you would need an adapter and lose all functionality (it would be like an M or k lens).

Oops, I did not see that clearly. Otherwise I would end up with regret. Already too many 645 lenses in the cupboard still seeing no 645D news around.

Lucky, I did not buy. I guessed I had been searching Fa 400 f5.6 for too long ... Wishful thinking
