Transitional Super-Takumar lenses?

The rule of thumb is that only Super-Multi-Coated Takumar and SMC Takumar lenses
have the additional coupling to allow full aperture metering with ES, ESII and Spotmatic F cameras.
These are sometimes referred to as "2 pin" or ES mount lenses.

However I own a Super-Takumar 55mm f/2.0 lens that has the additional lever, and I have seen others.
This must be a transitional version. Does anyone else own one of these lenses? If so, what model?

At the beginig (1971-1972) S-M-C was not for low budget lenses. S-M-C Takumar 55 f2 does not exist. Later (in 1973) SMC T 55 f2 with ruber focusing ring was made. Your lens was kit lens for SP500 that was low budget body.

Why do you suppose a budget lens would be among the first to incorporate
the couplings required for future, presumably more expensive bodies?

Yes, I see it there, but there is no mention of the additional couplings on this or any other Super-Takumar lens.
