LBA Strikes Again!! (Edit: VS1 90/2.5 Macro)

After deciding to minimize my somewhat large collection of gear and deciding to not buy anything for a long while, I was perusing Ebay ( bad idea when you're trying not to spend money) I ran across a lens that seemed to good to be true. At first I told myself no. It is an amazing lens but I didn't have that kinda money. And I certainly didn't need more lenses. After about 4 hours with it taunting me with it's "Buy It Now", I caved. I didn't even have the money for it so I had to borrow money, a bad sign of unchecked LBA. I have been holding my tongue for almost a week cause I didn't want to jinx the deal and have something go wrong. I felt it unlucky to say anything until I actually had possession of the lens.
It arrived today and my first thought when I opened the package were, "This is the most beautiful lens have ever seen"
I need some practice with it but here are the obligatory first shots.
Can you guess the lens?

Panagor 55/2.8 wide open ?? But if its not in your list and "This is the most beautiful lens I have ever seen" it would have to be one of the FA Limiteds

Ah, one of my favorite lenses. It's even better as a portrait lens.

What was the BIN price?

$250.
I haven't been able to find any current reliable source as to the value of these lenses but I knew it was worth at least that and after everything I have read about it I couldn't resist.

Good for you! I've been on the lookout for one of these for ages, and at $250 I think its a pretty good deal - given the gorgeous condition of the lens.

Nice work Colton, I also know the call of LBA - sometimes it's a good thing if money is a bit tight, but that doesn't always work!!

...Have you seen how many other threads there are with the title "LBA strikes again" ?

Judging by the photo, it looks to be in immaculate condition. You got a great deal. They can go from 300-400 for one in that condition. Great job, Swift.

Irishwhite, the Bokina looks great on my red K-x.

wow Swift. you got yourself a heck of a deal there. I had been on a look-out for awhile for one more copy in genuine K-mount for that price. honestly I could had snatched it from you for $250 easily if only I had known all about it. but I guess luck wasn't on my side and fate doesn't want me to have one more for the K-mount, yet. been extremely busy with work and it has diverted me away from the computer and eBay for about a month now. guess I have to enjoy my copy's full capability on a different camera mount instead, like the m4/3s and EVIL APS-C. although I use it on my Pentax camera from time to time with the use of an adapter.

first of all, I hate you for snagging the lens. this just tells how much I love the lens and how impressed I am with it.

second, it is one heck of a lens. magnificent if I should say it and worth every penny.

other than the sharpness and contrast wide open, the two best things that I love about this lens is it's bokeh rendering and color.

Thanks Jason.
Yes, sorry about the lame title. I was in a hurry and just to excited to care
Is it bad form to change a thread title?
