Shipping in a Lens for Repairs?

Anyone know where I can find the contact number to Pentax's repair facility? I Google'd but got nothing. I'm sending in a DA* 16-50mm that's out of warranty and needs some significant work done.

For anyone else who needs it, I found the link just after posting this: http://www.pentaximaging.com/support/

Thanks Google for ranking a bunch of forum posts ahead of the ACTUAL PENTAX WEBSITE.

Have you contacted CRIS? It is Pentax authorized service center.

I had a chance to use CRIS's service for my Ricoh (out of warranty). I'm happy.

Is it better to send to them than this 250 North 54th Street address in Chandler AZ? The Pentax site had me print out a form that would ship it directly to there...

I would contact CRIS directly. Pentax will just forward the lens to CRIS anyway.

I just tried to fill out their form and it failed. Fired off an email to try and get clarity. I wish people would make their website's work the first time around...

Thanks though! Hopefully going through them directly can speed things up a bit.

I would call them and get the instructions. I just received my K20 back from a warranty repair (took 12 days, they needed parts), and am very happy with the work. They also have a web tracking capability so you can watch what is happening to your equipment as it goes through their work flow.

I just drove down on my lunch hour, so didn't have to deal with shipping.....
