What is known of the new 18-135 lens?

Is this an historical lens that is being upgraded? Can it be used on FF bodies? Is it likely to be a well regarded lens? Just wonderin'

I can't imagine an 18-135mm for FF unless it cost well over $2k.

It is not a historical lens. I am sure that if Pentax ever comes out with a full frame camera, it will be useable in some kind of automatic crop mode, but the image circle certainly won't cover full frame. If you want to know the speculation on the lens, just check the News and Rumors page, where folks are going wild.
