Woh, that's robbery. In Sweden the mk2 goes for like 1000 dollars. Less before, but I think it's out of production. Or am I wrong?

Got mine for 349£ from the UK (SRS microsystems on ebay, they sell them now and then for low prices).

Post some pics once it arrives. I think you will enjoy it
I will! If it doesn't suffer from severe front focusing.

for those of u that use this lens, how far can u zoom @ 2.8 and still maintain a sharp image. the reason i ask is i plan on getting either this lens or the 50-135 to use during concerts and weddings etc. my concern is if the subject is further away and there is little light, i want to make sure i still have a decent reach.

I got mine this week.

I'm unsure if I'm happy with the focusing. It back focuses at 50mm at different distances, but not all. Maybe the camera could be wrong? I've read many samples front focuses at 150mm. But this is back focusing at 50mm. Any thoughts?

I've seen that the aperture blades is asymmetrical when looking in to the lense. Also when changing the aperture with my hands (not attached).
One blade gets a lager space then the others, why is that? Nothing to bother about? The others aren't in a perfect pattern either. The blades on my pentax 16-45 is much more symmetric, but not perfect. Is it normal?

To the question about how far away it's sharp. I'm not sure. At 150mm f4,5 it's decent sharp at like 30 meters atleast. Haven't really tried. Compared 2,8 and 4,5 with two shots. The 4,5 was much sharper.
