That's weird, they list the FA35mmF2AL which has been discontinued for a while now.

I remember a thread on this site talking about the 16-45 and FA 35 having been discontinued, but I can't find it now.

Pentax Canada - Historical & Discontinued
Pentax USA and UK don't list it as available. But they do list the 16-45 lens whereas Pentax Japan lists it as discontinued while Pentax Canada doesn't.
Interchangeable Lenses (Models discontinued in the Japanese market) : Digital Cameras : Products : PENTAX
Discontinued items must be different for the Asian, NA and European markets.

If anybody within EU is looking for one, take a look at what Cameranu in Holland offers: 239€! By far the cheapest I've seen in in Europe. If I didn't have two kit zooms already, I would've probably gotten one already.

Sell a kit lens. 16mm fov, sharp from f4, great colours. You won't regret it.
