Kiron 28-210 Macro lens test shots

Just received this lens and took some test shots. All were shot at the long end, 210mm, f6.5, ev-1. all images were cropped. the photo subject is a little unusual, but the textures and text make good test material.

pic 1 is with no teleconverter

pic 2 is with tamron 1.4af teleconverter

pic 3 is with pentax 2x-s teleconverter

overall, i'm very happy with the lens quality and expected some degredation with the tc's.

Was wondering if this will work better with a 2x tamron instead of 2x pentax?

Can a AF converter be used with a manual one?
