Show us your best 18-55mm Pics!

trying to decide on whether to get the buyers lens kit, hard to resist for 70 smackers, would some of you guys n dolls be so kind as to share your pics and thoughts on the lens?

Okay here are a few...
I have many others(in my stash) but I hardly use this lens anymore since we upgraded out kits about 2 years back.

great composition JB. fantastic work. although I would have preferred you using a different lens with these shots.

I most likely would of opted for the wider FOV under different circumstances(FF). However, since the K200D /18-55mm was our car kit at that time, it was often the culprit of most of our spurring snaps.

1. Taken in car on highway.
2. On route, first day of school.

I think the kit lens is very capable and is actually takes quite a while to out grow. I don't think I've mastered the kit lens at all, but here are a few that are recent or I'm fond of. Since I'm rather new to photography, the kit lens is my most used lens, so I'm fairly familiar with its limitations. You usually need some in camera adjustments for jpegs or to do a fair amount of PP with RAWs to really make the images pop. Distortion can be kind of a pain at 18mm, so I tend to shoot around 35mm where the lens is strongest. I almost always use the hood. Anyway, hope this helps!
