600mm solid cat

Wow, how are the photos like? Sharp and good corners?

I have not used it in a while, and only shot a couple of trial frames with digital, simply because it amplifies tripod vibration. (note equal to 1500 mm lens on film)

It is on my to do list, but plese see the scanned film image below.

Shot with Pentax KX and ektachrome 400 many years ago, on a dull day from a very long way away.

500mm/4.5 with 2x TC = what? a 1000mm/8.3

edit: if you ck the exif it'll say f2.8... i have no idea why this happens when i put this TC on this lens. without the TC it says f0..

My math says 9, but still faster than f/10

All these lenses are too short! Have the Celestron C5 (1250mm f10). Don't think I have ever shot a land shot with it. Need to do that.

Roy, I will take some pics soon that explains why the converter doesn't read correctly. Took me 3 months to figure it out! My Pentax A400 becomes a 2.8 with the converter - I wish.
