oh, how I miss my Pentax lenses!!!!!!

I am going to shoot Pentax with most Primes(FA limited 31mm, 77mm, F 50/1.4), but let me tell yall this, there are a few lenses I think I am going to have to buy them again to shoot with my K-5(placing an order tomorrow, but don't know the ETA yet).

here is the list of the Pentax lenses I will get again as soon as I get my K-5...
1. smc PENTAX D FA MACRO 100mm F2.8 WR
2. smc PENTAX DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 ED (IF) Fish-Eye
3. Yes or No? smc PENTAX DA Star 60-250mm F4 ED (IF) SDM(depends on how good the AF on K-5), and I have most of longer end covered with my D700 setup.

Anybody else regret selling their 10-17mm fisheye and 100mm/2.8 Macro WR, and maybe their DA* 60-250mm f4???

No regrets because I never sold them. Why did you sell yours?

I have both 10-17 and the 100mm macro.

I use the fisheye very much, and never crossed my mind selling it. Now the marco, I have used it few times, but I rather keep it, seeing how prices are all over the place.

Good luck with both systems!

Have the fisheye and the DFA100 macro. Can't imagine selling either. Nor the 31 or 77. Nope.
thanks

The 10-17 is quite special.
Hooked at first capture with it.
Would be a very difficult lens to give up, and I also use it sparingly.
The DFA 100 is another special lens. The WR version reminds me so much of an FA ltd it makes it even more special IMO.

I don't understand this whole 'selling' thing. I once sold a superfluous inferior (to what I already had) 1.4x TC I didn't need, but that's it.

I took it upon myself to never sell my legacy glass and 1.7x AF TC.
They simply costs too much now and are far to hard to get.

Indeed. The 1.7x AF TC? ... I got myself two. I just wish
a) I went ahead and bought two of the Voigtlander 125/2.5 lenses instead of one @ the time like I almost did.
b) bought the 77mm and 31mm limiteds a few years back when I wanted to.

I am going to buy both lenses again for sure, and WILL NOT sell them unless a FF comes out, then I might have to let the fisheye go again... now the question is if I should get another DA* 60-250mm/4, it was a great lens to use; but I kinda got the telephoto ends covered by Nikon setup, I'll have to see if I will be financially able to get it or not...

actually, the Macro WR is a DFA, so no worries if Pentax drop a FF bomb on us:P

I know, thats why I only said that I would let the Fisheye go... but to be honest, the direction Pentax is going, we might not see a FF. Unless they reproduce or redesign some of those FA lenses again. 100mm Macro WR is definitely very nice design and upgrade, I would love to see if they can do the same to all those FA* lenses....
can people imagine what those FA* redesign(similar to DFA 100 WR) would look like? all I can say that they would look wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy DOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
