Screwdrive & SDM/CD

Morning, I shoot landscapes, so f4 lenses are just fine for me. Yes, there are times when faster lenses both for light and focusing would be nice, but I have wound up with nothing but screwdrive lenses, and feel no compunction to even look at a SDM or now the newer CD. I think that I have all the lenses I probably need - although there may be a DA 21 Ltd in my future.

So, how does your lens inventory stack up - all screwdrive, some of each or all SDM?

Actually, thinking about this over the years, for me - the simpler the lens the better.

I don't do or ever plan on doing any wedding or nature photography
so really don't care how loud the lens is, as long as it's reliable.

If the 'pros' want that technology, let them have it in $$$ top-of-the-line lenses,
but for the regular amateur/semi-pro photographer, keep it simple!

Poll does not allow for accurate answers as its not granular enough. For the record, I have 7 SD and 1 SDM.

Actually I have a mixture of screwdive and K, M and A series lenses. Was put off SDM by the bad press it was getting. May change my mind now the DC motors are available.
